I agree with Brigham Young because I believe that in order to get what you want you have to be able to do the right thing. For example if you want a phone or any other electronic you have to prove to your parents that you are behaving, treating people with respect and also doing the right thing 24/7. Then I believe that you will get what you worked for. People and kids believe that they will get what ever they want by doing nothing but many people work really hard to get what they asked for. I believe that freedom cannot work with independence.

What I believe George Chapman is stating is every act of kindness grows from good people who are doing great.  In my opinion goodness does not act upon by doing greatness, but greatness is goodness. The people who are deciding to do the wrong thing are not great people because in order to be truly good you have to be able to be nice to one another and also need to be respect to adults. For example many children give horrible attitude to their parents or grandparents and the children who do that are not truly good. They may act good in school and may be getting good grades but when they are home their whole personality changes and their attitude as well. No matter what is going on you always have to be nice and treat others with respect.

What George Mitchell is stating that many people think it is better taking a short cut in life rather than learning the hard way and enjoying life. If you cheat in life you will keep on cheating again and again. Once you keep cheating, no matter how much you think something will affect you something will eventually will. Back in the days many athletes used to take steroids and thought it was okay but no it isn’t just because other athletes are doing it doesn’t mean you have to do it as well. You have to be able to stand out of the crowd not blend in, being able to stand out means others like you will be able to make a difference around the world. You do not have to become a follower.You get to decide your own path you make in life, do not let others decide for you. Yo have to be smart and make wise decisions. Many of the athletes that cheated had a choice and they choose the wrong decision. When you cheat you have a choice so make sure you choose the right.

• Music Volunteer ~ Individual musicians amd small ensembles to serve as volunteers and perform acoustically for their members, patients and staff. Be able to play in the main lobbies and waiting areas. 2 - 4 hour shifts. You need to create a volunteer account to contact with Kiaser Permanente LAMC

Martin Luther King Jr Community Hospital

• General Volunteer ~ Will make a set of customer service tasks to maximize the customer/patient experoence. Get to greet visitors as they walk into the hospital, provide vistor badges, escort new visitorsto locations within the hospital. Contact Place: 1680 E. 120th St Los Angeles, CA 90059

Los Angelels Public Library

• Story Telling and Reading ~ Volunteers share their love of books by reading with children at the library two hours a week. Talk to the Children’s Librarian at your library for more information.
• Homework Assistant ~ Helping kids and teens use the supplies and computers for homework and studying. Talk to the Young Adult Librarian at your local library for more information.

Cesar Chavez Day of Service

• Honor the revoultionary work of Cesar Chavez to create a world for all. Will be working in Heart of Wtts Community Garden in the City of Watts. Planting tree, painting and other garden work.

I believe everyone should take some advice from Dale Murphy. I believe no one should ever cheat on anything whether its school, atheistic,etc. You should never do anything wrong because you would have to pay with the consequences. You will have to be able to overcome the obstacles that are too difficult for you to handle. It’s always better to try than to give up. You cannot cheat your way to success or to an easy life, you have to earn your way to the top. You started from the bottom and you’re slowly going to the top with cheating.

I agree with Dale Murphy”s statement. What matters most in life is good character. If you have good character than you will succeed a good life..Dale Murphy was more concerned with his character than his baseball reputation. I believe that he didn't care that he had 398 home runs. He believed that he was a good person. Always be respectful and have integrity.Dale Murphy’s character was more important than how good he was at playing baseball.Your character describes the type of person you are, it lasts forever. Always be grateful, be honest and put others first. It does not matter how you look or how wealthy you are, it’s your character that matters the most. It isn’t the brains that matter most, but which way it guides you, your character and heart matters the most.

Saint Patrick’s Day is celebrated each year on March 17th. In Ireland, Saint Patrick’s Day is national holiday. Saint Patrick is the patron saint of Ireland. He was born in the year 385 and died on March 17th around the year 460. Saint Patrick had an adventurous life. He was captured by pirates at the age of 16. The Irish pirates brought him to Ireland and sold him as a slave. He was the one who brought Christianity to the Irish. He taught many of the people of Ireland to read and write. Legend says St. Patrick drove all the snakes to Ireland out of the country and into the sea. Green is the Irish color, because the green shamrock leaf is the national plant of Ireland. Also because Ireland is called the “Emerald Isle” with lots of green surroundings. St. Patrick might have used the shamrock to explain the Holy Trinity. Ireland celebrated on March 17 because that is the day St. Patrick died.

The statement above is telling us that you don’t need to have great strength. You don't need to be strong physically but you should have great strength mentally because it shows that you can do anything.  In life you don't need to be be strongest , the richest , and the most beautiful. Your heart should be the only one that is the best it is the one that counts the most. Don't be worried if everyone is better than you physically. But, you should be worried if someone is better than you by having a better heart than you do mentally. Having a better heart exceeds more than being rich. You don't need to have beauty but what you need is to have a better heart, be kind and caring. You will earn more when you are a caring person.
