I agree with the student success statement above. I agree because I do believe that if you keep on choosing the right you can achieve a lot. My choosing the right you can succeed in life. For some people it is hard to choose the right because some people just have a habit of choosing the wrong. For example JamesOn Curry choose the wrong because he did drugs and if you do drugs you cannot go far. To become a CTR person you can never do drugs even if your friends want you to , you have to be the bigger person and stand your ground. If you do decide to choose the wrong just know that it will never get you anywhere in life because one day the truth will really come out and every one will not want become your friend anymore and people will never trust you again. If you want to end up becoming successful in life you always have to choose the right. Even though JamesOn Curry has a lot of records that are broken, he won them buy do drugs unlike Steph Curry he became a professional basketball player without doing drugs. It was Steph Curry’s goal to become professional. He did that by working hard and choosing the right. He chose the right because he would practice playing basketball 24/7 and he would always respect everyone that he would compete with so I want you to remember that you should always choose the right.

I can relate to Mr. Haymore's statement. I believe many people can relate to this because students that attend HPIAM can know the difference between right and wrong. Also because our parents taught us how to be respectful and kind to others. But many kids believe that ignoring your parents and not following directions is cool. An example of this statement would be, if you see a student struggling by carrying their books, you can asked them if they need help. That is choosing the right because you care for others who need help. To know the difference between right and wrong, you need to first think of your actions and tell yourself am I doing the right or just causing harm. Always be aware of your actions.

What I believe what this statement is telling us is, if there is peace everywhere in the world we would not have so much conflict and hatred happening. In order for us to find and have peace we need to be kind and respectful. We can't do anything wrong or bad, we always need to be aware of our actions and what people can learn from that. If you do something bad then it can lead to something worse, which means there is no peace. If we choose the right then that means we have peace which can spread kindness to everyone. We always need to be kind and respectful to people and things. If people are still spreading hatred, conflict will spread all over the world. But that is why we need to be kind and choose the right.

The statement above like saying you cant ride a bike without wheels. Everything and everyone has a purpose to something and someone. In order to succeed in life you need to start somewhere. The starting point in life is chasing and achieving your goal. People tend to follow their goals and doing anything possible to achieve it. But their are other people who think it is a waste of time. People like that can lead to choosing the wrong. For example, doing illegal stuff, smoking, drinking, calling people horrible names etc. Those people think that they are not to good enough. In our society today we have a high standard of what successful people look like and what they do. Many people believe that they will never reach their goal but anything is people if you believe.

Yes, I agree with Alan Paton because we all need to forgive people. If you don’t forgive we will have anger deeply hidden inside of us. Also if you don't give people you might feel guilty because you will make the person feel bad about themselves and that can lower their self-esteem.  For example, if you tell your friend your deepest darkest secret and then the next day he/she told everyone, you will be mad and embarrassed. If you friend comes to apologize to you , you have two options you can forgive and forget it never happened or you can never forgive them and stay angry all your life. I believe the smartest way would be you can forgive but you can never forget. Forgetting it never happened would not be the smartest option because you will be very gullible. People always need to be aware of their actions and what bad or good it can cause among themselves and others. You always need to choose the best option that comes your way.
