I understand what Thomas S. Monson was stating. In problems it is a good time to stand for what is right even if you’re alone. An example would be if you’re hanging out with your friends and then they start to smoke,drink or do something that isn’t good and you don't want to do it tell them. If they’re calling you names for not doing it ignore them, they aren’t your real friends. You should be a good person and do what is right. If your “friends” are pressuring you to choose the wrong, don't hang out with them and find better friends who let you be yourself and understand that you’re a good kid. You always have to choose the right because if you don’t then you will not succeed in life.

It may be hard but once you succeed you can never back down, you need to strive for success. The quote " Obedience is the great test of life " in my words would be " Follow directions and strive for success" it means pay attention and don't be derogatory and never give up. Choose the right, work hard, work smart & work together.

I believe the quote " Decisions Determine Destiny" means you make decisions, you determine your decisions and you follow your destiny. Like its trying to say follow your dreams, think before you act. One little mistake can ruin your dreams and hopes. Thomas S. Monson is saying you have to follow the three steps to succeed and do not give up. He is also saying to choose the right, work hard, work smart and to work together. Also be caution of your actions,do what is best for you not others. My quote would be "Achieve, Work Hard, Believe", always believe in yourself.
