“Right is right, even if everyone is against it;And wrong is wrong, even if everyone is for it.”William Penn I believe the quote that William Penn stated is very reasonable. I believe it is reasonable because you as a person have to stand up for yourself. You do not have to fit in with others or rely on anyone. You have to believe what you think is right or wrong not what others tell you. For example like William Penn stated “ right is right, even if everyone is against it” It is not going to be fair if you sided with the wrong side just because you just want to be with them and truly believe what you think. Another example is you need to really understand between wrong versus right rather than just sided with your friends.

"Don't sacrifice what you want most for what you want now. Write down what you want most and see it often"
~ Peter Vidmar
In the student success statement the quote that Peter Vidmar stated is really thoughtful for us trying to follow our dreams and being a really good person and doing the right things. In my opinion I believe the quote that Peter Vidmar stated is really good advice.

HOMECOMING

HOMECOMING
A school homecoming is an annual tradition in the United States . High schools come together between September or early October to welcome back alumni and former residents. The tradition of Homecoming has its origin in alumni football games held since the 19th century. Schools including Baylor, Southwestern, Illinois and Missouri have made claims held the first modern homecoming. The University of Missouri’s 1911 football game during which alumni were encouraged to attend. It was the first annual homecoming centered on a parade and a football game. Those who return to their high school for homecoming after having graduated do so to celebrate their high school, see old friends and remember memories. Students who are still in high school celebrate homecoming to show school spirit and support whatever athletic teams and clubs going on during that time. Some activities related to school homecoming is Pajama Day, Hawaiian Day, Pinktober, College Apparel Day and also School Spirit Day. Most homecoming dances are semi-formal, although each school will specify its own dress code. For a semi-formal event, girls should wear cocktail dresses (usually cut at the knee) and boys should wear a suit with a tie. Tuxedos and long dresses should be avoided, unless the school specifically says the dance is formal.

Image result for goal setting is goal setting set and get
I believe the quote that Mark Victor stated means do not wait for the goal or dream come to you. You have to work really hard and believe that you can get the goal. You have to work hard, work smart and always do what is right. You need strategy, determination and motivation for your goals. You need to define your dreams , set a long term goal and crush them.

COLUMBUS DAY

Columbus day is on the second Monday of October. It remembers Christopher Columbus’ arrival to the Americas on October 12, 1492.   In 1492 Columbus sailed the ocean blue. Columbus landed in the Bahamas in 1492. Millions of people lived in the Americas. Erik the red and his viking crew made the North Atlantic crossing to Newfoundland in 1000 A.D. 492 years before Columbus. It was unofficially celebrated in a number of cities and states as early as the 18th century but didn’t become a federal holiday until the 1937. The holiday is a way of honoring Columbus’ achievements and celebrating Italian-American heritage. The Italian-born explorer had set sail two months earlier. He intended to chart a western sea route to China. India and Asia. Instead he landed in the Bahamas, becoming the first European to explore the Americas since the Vikings set up colonies in Greenland and Newfoundland during the 10th century. During the month Columbus explored Cuba and believed it was mainland China. In December the expedition found Hispaniola, which he thought might be Japan. He established Spain’s first colony in the Americas with 39 of his crew. On March 1493 he returned to Spain looking for gold, spices and Indian people. He sailed the Atlantic many times before he died in 1506. He realized that he didn’t reach Asia.

Obedience
" When obedience becomes our goal, it is no longer an irritation; instead of a stumbling block, it becomes a building block."    ~James E. Faust
I believe the quote means that people will push you to try your best and they are pushing you for the right reasons. Instead of being afraid you have to conquer your fear.  If you don't really push yourself you're never gonna accomplish anything. If you do bad things like drinking and smoking you will stumble on the path of choosing the right and you won't ever be able to be good again.

Life is a dream for the wise,
a game for the tool,
a comedy for the rich,
a tragedy for the poor.
~ Sholom Aleichem

I believe that the quote that Sholom Aleichem stated means that life means something for everyone in their own way. Life in my words would mean an obstacle from living your dreams but you could accomplish that goal by doing what you do best. And not letting anyone choose for you. Many people would do anything to go back and time and stop you from saying that one bad thing but that could be a wonderful thing a awful thing. People are grateful for what they have and who they're with. It doesn't matter about the things you have but what you're grateful for.
