Duties and Responsibilities: Marine Biologist use computers and software programs to process, collect, and analyze data. They also study aquatic plants and animals, and environmental conditions that affect them. They study the reactions of animals, plants, and marine species to parasites. They always work with teams on field studies and conduct various types of experiments.
Salary: $39,700 - $124,680
Education: Marine Biologist must have knowledge in biology, chemistry, physics, geology, and ecology. They need active learning and listening skills, critical thinking, complex problem solving, speaking and writing skills. They also must be proficient in scientific, and analytical software like photoshop and microsoft excel. They need experience with microscopes, centrifuges, and pipettes. Wherever they work, marine biologist usually spend time traveling to conduct their fieldwork. You need a bachelor’s degree.
Demand for this particular career: The U.S. bureau of Labor Statistics expects employment of wildlife biologists and zoologists, including marine biologists to rise 5% between 2012 and 2022.

Reflection: Yes I would like to become a Marine Biologist because I want to help the wildlife and species that are endanger. I would not like the mto become extinct.
