I believe what Russell M. Nelson is saying if everyone's doing it it does not mean you have to aswell. You get to make your own decisions, you choose. Do not let anyone choose them for you.  Be your own person. Right will always be right. Even if no one is doing. You need to stand for what is right even if you stand alone.
