Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Take photographs or record patients and process the image of video
  • More specialized photography, such as 3D imaging or using specialist cameras, to photograph the structures of a certain part of the body
  • Take pictures or films medical equipment to be used by clinicians for teaching
  • Use computers to download, edit and process digital images or films
  • Manage and train staff at more senior levels

$62,000-$100,000
Education:
Medical illustrators need a degree in clinical photography. Medical graphic designers, artists and web designers are suppose to have a degree in design or etc; Experienced designers  transfer to the profession from the commercial sector. Clinical photographers work directly  with patients and it’s likely that registration in this field will be a requirement for those who enter the profession.
Demand or Need for this profession:
Medical illustrators are employed as healthcare scientists. In hospitals and other clinical offices we need a medical illustrator. They would be very helpful around. We would need to see an example of what you would actually do at the job.

No I would not like to become a medical illustrator because my teacher does not believe me when i told that teacher i read the website  so therefor no I would not like to become one.
