Duties and Responsibilities:
Is a physician who is trained in the medical and surgical treatment of the ears, nose throat, and related structures of the head and neck. They manage diseases of the ears, nose and nasal passages sinuses, voice box, oral cavity and upper mouth and throat, and the structures of the neck and face. It is the oldest medical speciality in the United States.
Salary: $183,909 - $407,230
Education:
An ENT specialist take sup to 15 years of college and postgraduate training. To qualify the American Board of Otolaryngology, must complete college first, medical school and at least 5 years of specialty training. Next, the physician must pass the American Board of Otolaryngology test to be certified. The ENT specialist follow a one or two year fellowship for more training. You need to earn a bachelor’s degree. Complete a medical school program.
Demand:
The United States need and ENT specialist to help the problems of children. Also we have many swimmers who’s condition is very critical so we need that.
Reflection: No I would not like to become a ENT specialist because i have other goals in life to achieve. An ENT is not my type of profession i would not like to become.
