Story
The story that Thomas S. Monson said when he was at camp with his friend was when he was eight years old. Thomas and his friend Danny wanted to build a campfire, so they started pulling the dried weeds with all their might. Thomas and Danny were trying to create a circle so only the fire would stay in the surroundings. Once they were finish forming the circle, Thomas and Danny snuck into the cabin and grabbed the matches from the cabinet and he hid them in his pocket. Thomas lit the fire and threw the match into the circle. At first they thought the fire would only burn the circle they have created but no it was spreading every where. Thomas and Danny panicked. They both called for help and all of their friends were helping them out. They got burlap sacks, went to the lake and soaked up the water with the burlap sacks and started whacking the fire with the wet burlap sacks. Both Danny and Thomas were relieved the fire stopped. That day Danny and Thomas knew the true meaning of being disobedient and they have to follow the rules.
