Duties and Responsibilities: Physical therapists treat patients by teaching them different exercises needed to strengthen or stretch muscles. You will need to consult with the patient on their symptoms and to develop a rehabilitation plan.Throughout the process, a large part of the job will include being supportive and understanding. Salary:
$80,999 - $95,401Education: Required to be licensed and you need to hold a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree to practice. Also a Master of Physical Therapy degree is acceptable. You can enroll in a Bachelor’s to a Master’s program which allows students to earn both degrees at a quicker paste. You can also earn a MPT first and go on to a doctoral program. In order to become licensed, you will need to pass the National Physical Therapist Examination.  Demand: The job outlook is from 2014-24 is 34% much faster than average. The demand for Physical Therapy services will come from the aging baby boomers, who are staying active later in life.  Physical therapy will be needed to treat people with mobility issues stemming from chronic conditions, such as diabetes or obesity.
