Yes, I agree with Alan Paton because we all need to forgive people. If you don’t forgive we will have anger deeply hidden inside of us. Also if you don't give people you might feel guilty because you will make the person feel bad about themselves and that can lower their self-esteem.  For example, if you tell your friend your deepest darkest secret and then the next day he/she told everyone, you will be mad and embarrassed. If you friend comes to apologize to you , you have two options you can forgive and forget it never happened or you can never forgive them and stay angry all your life. I believe the smartest way would be you can forgive but you can never forget. Forgetting it never happened would not be the smartest option because you will be very gullible. People always need to be aware of their actions and what bad or good it can cause among themselves and others. You always need to choose the best option that comes your way. 

Memorial Day

Memorial Day is on the last Monday in May, each and every year. Memorial Day was establish to recognize and honor U.S soldiers who died in the battle of duty or military service. To celebrate people can visit cemeteries and memorials of the fallen. A national moment of remembrance takes place at 3pm. Memorial Day is also called Decoration Day it started in the late 1860s to remember those who lost their lives fighting the Civil War. Originally, MEMORIAL Day honored those who died in the Civil War. Now it honors those who died in the Spanish-American War, World War I, World War II, the Korean War, Vietnam and Desert Storm. Today, Memorial Day is celebrated at Arlington National Cemetery with a ceremony in which a small American flag is placed on each grave. Also, it is tradition that the president or vice-president to give a speech honoring the contributions of the dead and lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. About 5,000 people attend. What I would do on Memorial Day where we would invite friends and family members to celebrate the holiday.  What I think about Memorial Day is that it is sad that those soldiers had to die in the Civil War and many men were forced to join the army.  Also those men and women who died serving the U.S. military. “My fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you, ask what you can do for your country.” John F. I believe what the statement meant is you have to do the right thing no matter what. If you are in a bad situation you need to know what the best way to do some good. You need to dare to be true and dare to be right. Even though you are standing alone no one can replace the feeling of doing good.  When you do the wrong, you cannot repay for what you did. But if you choose the right and do the right, you will get repaid. For example if someone dares you to steal money. Will you do it. Of course you shouldn’t do it because that is choosing the wrong and you can get caught. It is okay to say no even though they might call you a chicken.

Duties and Responsibilities: Veterinarians help and care for animals. They work to improve health. They diagnose, treat, and research medical conditions and diseases of pets and other animals. Veterinarians examine animals to diagnose their problem. They treat wounds, perform surgery on the animals, prescribe medication, they operate medical equipment and they advise the owners about the care, treatment and medical conditions of the animal. There are five types of veterinarians. The first one is the companion animal veterinarians - treat pets and work in private  clinic and hospitals. Equine Veterinarians - work with horses. Food animal veterinarians - work with farm animals. Food safety and inspection veterinarians - inspect and test animal products for animals disease, provide vaccines to treat animals, enhance animal welfare, conduct research to improve animal health and enforce government food safety regulations. Research veterinarians - work in laboratories, conducting clinical research on human and animal health problems.  

Salary: Median annual wage $88,770

Education: Veterinarians need to complete a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at a college of veterinary medicine. There are 30 colleges with programs in the United States. A veterinary medicine program takes 4 years to complete. Veterinary medical colleges require the student to take sciences classes like, biology, chemistry, anatomy, physiology, zoology, microbiology, and animal science.

Demand: The employment of veterinarians is predicted to grow 9 percent from 2014 to 2024.

I understand what Thomas S. Monson was stating. In problems it is a good time to stand for what is right even if you’re alone. An example would be if you’re hanging out with your friends and then they start to smoke,drink or do something that isn’t good and you don't want to do it tell them. If they’re calling you names for not doing it ignore them, they aren’t your real friends. You should be a good person and do what is right. If your “friends” are pressuring you to choose the wrong, don't hang out with them and find better friends who let you be yourself and understand that you’re a good kid. You always have to choose the right because if you don’t then you will not succeed in life.

The topic I decided to research/write about is The Flash. I chose to write about The Flash because The Flash is one of my favorite superheros and my favorite TV show.  During season one an accident happened in Central City, expert scientists decided to create a machine called the “particle accelerator” and they decided they wanted the public to know. On the day the scientists were going to turn it on a storm occurred causing the particle accelerator to malfunction which causes a storm. A CSI Investigator, Barry Allen was struck by lighting and goes into a coma. After many months in a coma he finally woke up with the power of super speed. Speed gave Barry Allen the ability to move through Central City unseen. When Barry discovered is powers he was shocked and he wasn’t the only “meta-human” who was created by the particle accelerator. Not all the meta-humans used their powers for good. Barry decided to team up with S.T.A.R Labs and he dedicates his life to protect Central City from meta-humans. Before Barry Allen became The Flash his mother was killed when he was eleven years old.  The police accused the father for the murder that he didn't commit. Barry was an orphan, his mom died and the police took his dad to jail but Barry was taken in and raised by Detective Joe West. Now Barry became a CSI Investigator to discover who really killed his mom.  While Barry was fighting meta-humans he found his nemesis called the Reverse Flash. The person who killed his mom. This quote means that if you keep chasing your dreams and goals the right and honest way you will succeed. You always need to do the right thing, you can’t do the wrong thing intentionally. If you always follow up on your goals and trying to accomplish them then you know what you’re doing in life. For example, if your goal is to get an A on your test/quiz do it the right way, you need to study and work hard but if you do it the wrong way like you cheat on your test that means you don’t really deserve the grade. At the end of the day your a good person, you are not perfect (nobody is perfect) but your intentions are good and your heart is pure. You need to chase your passions and goals. You need to work hard and accomplish something that is bigger than yourself.
