“Nothing is ever gained in doing what’s wrong.”
~Wilford Woodruff

Yes, I totally agree with Wilford Woodruff because his statement above is true. In the statement he is trying to say that if you do bad things you will just be recognized as the trouble maker, nothing good will come from that. But if you do good things people will know you’re a good person and they would want to become your friends. We always need to choose the right because if we don't nothing good will come from that. The quote is also showing that doing the wrong thing would not take us anywhere. If you are not doing anything good then you’re not gaining anything in life.  For example, if you are at a party and you are drinking alcoholic drinks that means you will probably get used too drinking that everyday and you will spend all your money on drinks and then someday you will die because of choosing the wrong. But if you are at a party and you are not drinking alcohol then that means you can control your temptation and that is what makes you a good person.

“It’s A GREAT MOMENT when someone has character to step up and do the right thing at the time.”
~Pam Knox
I agree with Pam Knox with her statement because if you see someone getting bullied you have to do something. You have to speak up and tell the bully to stop being mean. Do not be a quiet bystander be the one that will make a difference. Many people are too afraid to speak up or in this case step up and do the right thing. You need to have the courage to speak up and do the right thing. Choosing the right will lead you to a successful path. If you do speak up and do the right thing it will also influence other people to speak up and choose the right. Many people will feel motivated for what you did and would not try to choose the wrong.

“I have been asked what I mean by ‘word of honor.’ I will tell you. Place me behind prison walls–walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground–there is a possibility that in some way or another I may escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can I get out of the circle? No. Never! I’d die first!”
~ Karl G. Maeser

What I think Karl G. Maeser means in the statement above is that he will always keep his word no matter what is going on. For example he stated “Place me behind prison walls–walls of stone ever so high, ever so thick, reaching ever so far into the ground–there is a possibility that in some way or another I may escape; but stand me on the floor and draw a chalk line around me and have me give my word of honor never to cross it. Can I get out of the circle? No. Never! I’d die first!” That means that he would do what he is told. He would not cross the line because he kept his word of honor. For example if your friend tells you a secret and he/she says you have to keep your word of honor, you have to keep it, you cannot tell anyone. But if you do break the word of honor then that just means that people cannot trust you. So in my opinion you have to keep your word of honor to become a ctr person.

SSS
“ A promise must never be broken”
~Alexander Hamilton
I agree to Alexander Hamilton with the statement above. You should always keep your promises and never break them. If you break a promise that means that you just lied to them and lying is never an answer. Once you lie you will keep on lying to cover up the other and then you will get used to lying and you will lie your whole life. A promise can mean everything but once you break it a “sorry” would mean nothing at all to the person. For example if a friend tells you a secret and she promises you not to tell anyone and you agree with her that means you cannot break the promise and you have to keep your mouth shut and not mention it to anyone. But if you go ahead and tell your other friends that just means that you betrayed her and she will never trust you ever again.

Duties and Responsibilities: Orthopedic Surgeons are physicians. They treat patients of all ages suffering from broken arms to artificial hips. They specialize in diagnosing, treating and repairing injuries, disorders and diseases affecting the musculature system. Orthopedic surgeons diagnose and assess patients’ injuries and diseases through diagnostic testing, such as x-rays to look for broken bones or blood test to check for rheumatoid arthritis. If surgery is demanded, they repair the injury, disease or damage.
Salary: $355,927 -$585,605
Education:Their education starts in a bachelor’s degree program in pre-medical studies, biology or something similar. After receiving an undergraduate degree, they attend an additional four years of medical school taking advanced courses in anatomy and physiology, pharmacology and biochemistry. They also participate in clinical rotations that introduce them to specialties in medicine, including surgery. After medical school, orthopedic surgeons continue their training through five years of residency education. They usually spend one year if residency training in general surgery and four years in orthopedic surgery.
Demand or Need: The U.S Bureau of Labor Statistics predicts that employment for all physicians and surgeons will grow 24 percent from 2010 to 2020. The growth rate is faster than average when compared to all the professions. When the population continues to grow and age, the demand for orthopedic surgeons will grow too.

Reflection: No I would not like to become a orthopedic surgeon because I would not be able to handle all the blood that is seen during the surgery. Also I don't think I can handle a big responsibility because you will always need to be doing surgery on patients older and younger.
